A former senior banker with both Macquarie Bank and National Australia Bank, Shaun has extensive experience in SME through to ‘emerging’ Corporate banking markets in Australia.
With a focused specialisation in banking solutions for the Real Estate Industry sector Shaun was National Head of Residential Real Estate Relationship Banking at Macquarie Bank. In this capacity he was responsible for strategy and direction, successfully leading and driving a national sales team to year-on-year growth in balance sheet footings.
Key to Shaun’s role was developing and managing relationships with many of the larger operators and stakeholders in the Real Estate Industry. Shaun has provided advice on debt structuring and business and succession planning from single office through to major franchisor and large independent group level.
Shaun successfully delivered the Macquarie Bank Benchmarking Survey for Residential Real Estate agencies, involving building the survey content, analysing and interpreting results for insight, and presentation roll-out nationally.
Shaun also developed the concept and content for the online initiative Property Management Toolkit to aid business owners and managers to build, measure and refine their business models.
Most recently his Senior Banking Manager role saw him develop and manage a portfolio of top end Nab Business customers and Referral partners.
Shaun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Queensland University of Technology with a Major in Banking and Finance.
